Return Policy


Overview

Website pieces have a 2 day return policy, from the date of delivery counting as day 1. If a piece is received on a Monday, then Tuesday would be second business day, but if a piece is received on a Saturday, then Monday would be second business day to eligible for return. 
Sundays do not count toward this window of time.

If returning, piece must be shipped back next business day and tracking must  be emailed to me at hairenvy777@gmail.com  to be eligible for refund or exchange. Package must be in carriers possession following day. 
Shipping fees are non refundable and buyer is responsible for returned shipping and or duty fees. 

If a piece is shipped back past return window, that piece is returned to sender and no tracking is provided, as there is none to give.  Liability is on buyer. 

 

Affirm/Shop Pay payment plan orders are final sale only. No exchanges or refunds if purchases are on a payment plan. 


Custom and pre orders require a 50% non refundable deposit and are final sale. 


Final sale pieces are non refundable/ no exchanges.

Any alterations to any pieces are not refundable. 

HairEnvyNewYork is not responsible for any customs fees acquired on any international orders. If a piece was a final sale, and customs/duties are not paid, HairEnvyNewYork will not refund on that item. 

If a promo code is used, that order is a final sale.

Accessories are final sale. 

Refunds can take up to 7-10 business days to post to account. 

Address for returns- (Liability is on customer if a return is lost or damaged in transit- therefore it is recommended to insure piece for value paid)

*Pieces are shipped from a non smoking facility, hairenvynewyork has no control if a driver from any delivery carrier smokes in that facility or truck. In the event of this rare occurrence, a fresh shampoo/wash  may be needed

Condition

All pieces must be in the exact same condition as sold, with tags attached and lace in tact. Once lace is cut, there is no option for return, so be sure to thoroughly check your piece before cutting lace. 
*Must be scent free from all perfumes you may be wearing. Heavily scented pieces will be returned to sender and will not be refunded or exchanged. Pieces must be shipped back in original shipping box  to be eligible for return or exchange. 

 Toppers- Please ensure hair is combed out and all clips are closed to avoid hair from tangling in clips when shipping. 

Restocking Fee

Due to the need to professionally sanitize any returned product,  there will be a 10% restocking fee on all returns. That charge is for labor and products used. 
Shipping charges will not be refunded for any reason.

Cancellation Fee

Due to the expenses involved in our supply chain, orders that are cancelled and not yet shipped will be subject to a 5% cancellation fee.

 Pre Orders and custom orders will require a 50% non refundable deposit and are final sale- no returns/exchanges, no exception. 


LOSS OR DAMAGE IN TRANSIT.

HairEnvyNewYork assumes no liability for any loss, damage, or destruction of items after delivery is made to the carrier. Shipments will be insured only at the request of and at the expense of customer. Please contact us at hairenvy777@gmail.com prior to purchase to arrange insurance to protect your shipment.

Care and maintenance-

HairEnvyNewYork is not liable for any shedding issues. Each piece is thoroughly checked and ensured there is no shedding. If your not properly brushing and maintaining your lace top pieces, they can and will shed. Be sure to brush out from ends first and up. If you use tape or scar tape on lace, that can add to shedding each time tape is removed, bleaching knots or lifting hair color can also cause piece to shed.
